WARLEY HQ

Working closely with the developers I produced a package of different solutions which worked with the overall design to create a unique atmosphere and sense of history

Using techniques from film and TV scenic painting, I produced a series of ‘Ghost Signs’. Based on advertising from the time that Ford had used the building as its European headquarters, painted on to new walls and aged, they added a visual reminder as well as serving as landmarks throughout the building.

A series of these large scale handpainted billboard ads from through the ages were placed on different floors

Every one of the 350 apartments has an individual, little piece of something special. a hand written number by the door

In keeping with the automotive theme, these directional signs were based on U.S road signs

The building has large hand painted and distressed numbers in the lift lobbies and stair wells for a post-industrial aesthetic
